1. Who we are and who this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Tampa Acro LLC, the founder and owner of the Acro Social brand ("Tampa Acro," "Acro Social," "we," "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use acrosocial.com, the Acro Social apps and related services (the "Platform"). It applies to members, Hosts and Instructors.
Acro Social is a brand of Tampa Acro LLC. Tampa Acro LLC is the data controller responsible for your information. The Platform is developed and maintained for us by Bespoke Visionaries, which acts as our service provider.
Age requirement. The Platform is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
Hosts' own practices. Hosts and Instructors who see your information through the Platform may also collect information from you directly, such as waivers or registration forms. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies, not this one.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you give us, information generated as you use the Platform, and limited information from service providers. The table shows what others can see.

Sensitive information. We do not ask for health information. If you choose to share an injury or condition in your bio or messages, it is visible to whoever can see that content. Please share health details only with people who need them.
3. Location and map data
We use location only to show you nearby communities, events and partners, and we never show other users your exact device location.
- Device location. If you allow it, your browser or device shares your location for "Near me" searches. We use it to sort results and store it only in approximate form (rounded to about 1 km). You can turn it off at any time in your browser or device settings.
- Home city. The city you enter on your profile is visible according to your settings.
- Event pins. Exact coordinates for events and meeting spots are entered by Hosts and Instructors and are shown to the event's audience. Do not drop a pin on a private residence unless you intend to share that address.
- Google Maps Platform. Maps, address autocomplete and place search are provided by Google Maps Platform (Maps JavaScript API and Places API). Your search text, selected places and technical request data are sent to Google and handled under Google's Privacy Policy. Google may use cookies or similar technologies.
4. How we use and share information
4.1 How we use it. We use personal information to:
- Create and secure accounts and authenticate sign-ins
- Run profiles, communities, events, RSVPs, streaks, skill tracking, partner search and messaging

We send marketing emails only where permitted, and every one includes an unsubscribe link.
4.2 Messages. We store message content to deliver it. We do not read private messages routinely. Authorized staff may review messages when a user reports them, when automated tools flag possible abuse, or when required by law.
4.3 Audit and moderation logs. We log administrative actions, such as role and permission changes, membership approvals, removals and suspensions, to keep accounts and communities secure and to handle appeals.
4.4 Who we share it with.
- Other users and Hosts, according to your settings and how features work (see Section 2)
- Service providers that operate the Platform on our behalf under contracts that limit their use of your data (table below)
- Authorities or others when required by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect someone's safety, investigate abuse, or enforce our Terms

5. Cookies, retention, deletion and security
5.1 Cookies and local storage. We use cookies, session tokens and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as theme, protect against fraud, and measure performance. We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. Blocking essential cookies may stop the Platform from working.
5.2 Retention. We keep personal information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Platform, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce our Terms and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
5.3 Deleting your account. You can delete your account in settings or by emailing [privacy@acrosocial.com]. When you do:
- Your profile, photos, videos, RSVPs, saves, reactions, skill progress and streaks are deleted
- Messages you sent are replaced with "[deleted]" in your recipients' threads
- Events you created stay visible to their community with your name removed, unless the Host deletes them
- Safety reports, moderation records and billing records may be kept, with details minimized, where needed for safety, legal or accounting reasons
- Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle, typically within [30-90] days
5.4 Security. We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and role-based permissions to protect your information. No system is completely secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
6. Your privacy rights
6.1 Rights available to everyone. You can view and edit your profile, change visibility settings, turn off location access, unsubscribe from marketing email, and delete your account at any time.
6.2 U.S. state rights. Depending on where you live, including California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it; to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of it; to opt out of sale, targeted advertising or profiling; to limit use of sensitive information; and to appeal our decision on a request. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, and have not done so in the past 12 months. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
6.3 EU, UK and Swiss users. If these laws apply, we process your data on the basis of contract (to provide the Platform), legitimate interests (safety, security, moderation and improvement), consent (optional location and marketing), and legal obligation. You may also object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority. Data is processed in the United States; where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
6.4 How to make a request. Email [privacy@acrosocial.com] from your account email. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time the law requires, usually 30 to 45 days. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
6.5 Changes to this Policy. We will post updates here with a new effective date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app message before they take effect.
6.6 Contact. Tampa Acro LLC, founder and owner of Acro Social, [ADDRESS], [privacy@acrosocial.com].
